Celebrating Korean Thanksgiving at New Vista

New Vista Society was filled with the flavours and traditions of Korean Thanksgiving, known as Chuseok, on September 17.

The menu featured a variety of delicious items. Residents were treated to pan-fried cod alongside a comforting beef and radish soup. The meal also included Japchae, a popular dish of stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables, complemented by sides of steamed rice, pan-fried zucchini, and, of course, the traditional and tangy kimchi. To finish, a warm ginger cinnamon punch provided a perfect, spiced ending to the feast.

A special thank you goes out to Aelan Bahng, our talented Korean cook, whose culinary skills and dedication brought the tastes and traditions of Chuseok to life.

We are grateful to all who participated in this celebration and helped make it a wonderful event.
