Eunice Oh Residence Grand Opening

Eunice Oh Residence Opens with a Grand Celebration

The Eunice Oh Residence officially opened its doors on July 25th, marking a significant milestone in New Vista Society’s ongoing commitment to affordable housing. The grand opening was celebrated by honouring the building’s namesake, Eunice Oh, a dedicated benefactor and steadfast supporter of New Vista Society.

The event attracted a host of distinguished guests, including Senator Yonah Martin, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Korea Mr. Sokkwang Hong, MP Peter Julian, MLA Ann Kang, and Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley.

“The opening of the Eunice Oh Residence is a proud moment for us all,” said Darin Froese, CEO of New Vista Society. “This building represents more than just housing; it’s a symbol of our commitment to creating inclusive, supportive communities where everyone has a place to call home.”

The Eunice Oh Residence offers 25 units of affordable rental housing, thoughtfully designed to include three studios, 11 one-bedroom apartments, eight two-bedroom apartments, and three three-bedroom apartments. This diverse range of housing options reflects New Vista’s mission to provide accessible and comfortable living spaces for individuals and families alike.

“This grand opening marks the beginning of a new chapter for New Vista Society, as we continue to work toward creating vibrant, inclusive communities for all,” added Froese.
