Progress Continues on New Vista’s Affordable Housing Development in Burnaby

Construction is well underway at 4170 James Street, where New Vista Society is developing 118 units of non-market housing as part of Polygon’s Perla development.

This six-storey wood-frame building will provide much-needed affordable housing in Burnaby, with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.

New Vista entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Polygon in late 2022, and since construction began in May 2023, great progress has been made.

The project is expected to be completed in late 2026, helping to address the growing demand for affordable housing in the community.
