Project adds 25 units of affordable rental housing in Burnaby
The New Vista Society is proud to announce the grand opening of the Eunice Oh Residence, a new affordable rental housing development located at 7898 18th Ave, Burnaby, BC.
This three-story wood-frame building, funded through BC Housing’s Community Housing Fund (CHF), will officially open its doors this summer, providing much-needed housing for the community.
The Eunice Oh Residence offers 25 units of affordable rental housing, including:
- 3 studio apartments
- 11 one-bedroom apartments
- 8 two-bedroom apartments
- 3 three-bedroom apartments
This development is named in honour of our generous benefactor, Eunice Oh, whose contributions have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.
“We are incredibly proud to open the Eunice Oh Residence, which will provide affordable and comfortable housing for many families in our community,” said Darin Froese, CEO of New Vista Society. “This project reflects our ongoing commitment to addressing the housing needs in Burnaby and beyond. We are grateful for the support of BC Housing and the dedication of our team in making this vision a reality.”
The Eunice Oh Residence is a testament to the power of community collaboration and the impact of philanthropic contributions. As the New Vista Society continues to expand its efforts to provide quality housing and support services, this new development stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity for those in need.
