New Vista Strides for a Cause
The New Vista Striders raised $19,413 at the 23rd Annual Walk for Alzheimer's!
What a beautiful day for a walk in the park—and an even better day to show what community can do.
On Sunday, our New Vista Striders laced up for the 23rd Annual Walk for Alzheimer's at Central Park. Dressed in bright yellow shirts, we walked in support of the 85,000 British Columbians living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Thanks to your incredible support, our team raised an astounding $19,413.00 for the Alzheimer Society of BC!
We also held a ticket draw at New Vista to raise additional funds—bringing in another $240 thanks to generous staff and residents.
A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, cheered us on, or helped spread the word. Special recognition goes to Angels Vivian, Vilma, Usha, Amarjit, Percy, Monica L, Monica T, Prema, Shan, Judy and Laura for their amazing fundraising efforts. And a big shoutout to Tone for crafting the unforgettable emotional support chickens!
This was a true team effort, and we’re proud to have walked together for such an important cause.
