Thanks to funding from the Province and Rental Protection Fund, New Vista Society expands our reach with acquisition of The Brighton and The Claymore residences in Langley

"We are delighted to welcome The Brighton and The Claymore into the New Vista family," said Darin Froese, CEO of New Vista Society.

Burnaby, British Columbia – New Vista Society, a leading provider of affordable housing and seniors care, is excited to announce the acquisition of The Brighton and The Claymore Residences in Langley.

Located at 5375 204 Street and 5374 203 Street, respectively, The Brighton and The Claymore offer a combined total of 108 suites situated on expansive lots. Both buildings are in excellent condition, benefiting from diligent management and thorough capital expenditures under institutional ownership, resulting in minimal deferred repairs and maintenance.

They provide ample space and serene surroundings for residents to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle and are located near the future Surrey-Langley SkyTrain Station, enhancing accessibility for residents to transportation and amenities in the area.

"We are delighted to welcome The Brighton and The Claymore into the New Vista family," said Darin Froese, CEO of New Vista Society. "Our mission to provide affordable housing and enhance the quality of life for seniors aligns perfectly with these properties, and we are committed to upholding their legacy while ensuring a high standard of maintenance and support for all residents.”

New Vista Society is dedicated to leveraging its expertise in managing affordable housing projects to enrich the lives of residents at The Brighton and The Claymore. The organization looks forward to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community within these residences.

“We launched the Rental Protection Fund to protect renters and preserve valuable affordable housing,” said Ravi Kahlon, Minister of Housing. “We heard concerns about real estate investment trusts buying up buildings, and in some cases displacing renters and increasing rents. Today, we are reversing that trend and ensuring that people and families, including those living in these 108 homes, will have the security of staying in the place they know and the community they love.”
