Vista Boutique Offers Comfort, Community, and Support
Volunteer-run shop continues to raise funds and serve residents with donated goods and essentials
Tucked inside the New Vista Care Home, the Vista Boutique has been quietly making a difference since 2004. This small but well-loved shop offers a variety of affordable essentials and donated goods and plays a big role in supporting residents, families, and the wider New Vista community.
Run entirely by volunteers from the New Vista V’s Auxiliary, the Boutique is stocked with personal care items, greeting cards, snacks, gently used clothing, accessories, jewelry, home décor, and seasonal treats. Every item in the shop is donated by friends, families, visitors, or staff, and every purchase helps support the comfort and wellbeing of those who live at New Vista.
Since opening, the Vista Boutique has helped raise over $320,000 for the New Vista Society. The funds have gone toward purchasing equipment and necessities that enhance the quality of life for residents and tenants.
Visitors are always welcome to browse, make a purchase, or drop off donated items. For current hours of operation or more information about how to support, contact New Vista Society or visit newvista.bc.ca.
Visit the boutique Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
