The New Vista Society would like to wish our Asian community and team members who are celebrating the Lunar New Year!

Lunar New Year is one of the most important holidays for many Asian communities in Canada and around the world. The holiday represents new beginnings and the renewal of good health, happiness, and prosperity.

Here are some events happening across the Lower Mainland to celebrate this year’s Lunar New Year:

• Lunarfest 2025 Lunar Fest Vancouver 2025 is an annual festival that welcomes the new year with a variety of activities for all ages. The theme for 2025 is “Fluidity in Diversity”.
• Year of the Snake at the Chinese Canadian Museum Drop in for free Lunar New Year treat sampling, Year of the Snake-themed crafts, and Lunar New Year board games.
